The Harker School Women in STEM, Executive

I first noticed the gender gap in STEM when I found myself in a introductory programming class that had 2 girls and 18 boys. That sparked my passion for gender diversity in STEM, and my journey as an advocate began with the Women in STEM club at my high school.


2020-2021

As the Vice President, I initiated and/or led the following projects.

  • Mentorship Program, 50% size expansion
  • Research Symposium, 700+ attendees

2019-2020

As the Marketing Director, I organized the following efforts.

  • Social Media platforms management, 3x follower growth
  • Fundraisers to support girls' education in Western Kenya, $3K+ raised
Volunteering at outreach events to expose elementary school students to science!
