University of Toronto CS Department, Ambassador
2024-2025
Appointed as the lead in my senior year, I led a team of 4 student ambassadors to represent the department and support academic and co-curricular student experiences. I helped reform the ambassadors program to focus more heavily on mentorship, and my team’s accomplishments include the following.
- Helped 50+ students via weekly drop-in sessions for resume reviews over the course of 3 months
- Supported 19 department events via staffing booths, speaking on panels, handling logistics, etc
- Compiled 270+ CS-related job postings and program opportunities for the department’s career board
- Published 9 articles/guides on the ambassadors website related to career support and student life

2022-2023
I was invited as a student speaker for the department presentation at the university’s open house event known as the Fall Campus Day. As a guide, I also led campus tours around the CS buildings and facilities in groups of 30-50 for prospective students and their families.
